| Euro XTM Maintenance Coat is designed to prolong the life of finished exterior doors, shutters, windows, wood trim, and other exterior wooden objects that have been previously coated with Euro X products. This product is available in only a satin finish, which may change the sheen of the previous coating. Euro X Maintenance Coat is generally used no sooner than 6 months to 1 year after the initial application of a Euro X product. Euro X Maintenance Coat can be applied every 1 to 2 years at a rate of no more than 2 coats per yearly, or bi-yearly application.
Euro X Maintenance Coat is also recommended to seal bare wood edges of a door, window, etc. (previously coated with a Euro X shop applied coating) that has been cut or planed during jobsite installation. Two to three coats should be applied to seal these edges. For application information and cure times, see Application Procedure section on next page.
M.L. Campbell Euro X products have been formulated for exterior use in varying climates and seasons. Euro X products greatly out-perform interior wood finishes due to better flexibility, resistance to temperature changes, moisture and UV resistance; however, all exterior wood finishes will eventually degrade due to natural conditions. Euro X Maintenance Coat will help extend usable life, which varies with UV exposure and natural elements.
