SEEDLAC (Industrial Grade SeedLac) SEEDLAC is the least refined of all shellac grades. This industrial grade of shellac is suitable for restoring antiques and other darkened finishes. Once liquefied and strained to remove twigs, dirt and other impurities, it creates a rich dark color. When strained multiple times (2 or 3) and allowed to set, it creates a rich orange brown "Button Lac" shade.
